MK 2 Escort Group 4 Rally Car 1/8th Scale Model

I have a great affection for these fantastic old cars, which will be shown in the attention to detail on our exciting new 1/8th model.

The Model will be constructed of High quality Polyurethane Resin incorporating an aluminium mix to achieve a metallic type finish, clear polyoptic glass resin for the windows, that has the appearance of real Glass, Real rubber for the tyres, working suspension, and revolving wheels.

It is a static model for display purposes. Size will be around 49.5cms (19.5”) long, by 19cms (7.5” wide) Big!

The use of chrome is also included, along with brass etch for moving parts like door hinges etc. Included in each kit will be a choice of tarmac and forestry wheels and tyres, and suspension, Carburettor or fuel injected BDA engine, and associated fuel pumps, fuel lines and fixings etc.

The standard 1/8th model will be the same as VLE 756X, with Rothmans Vinyl stickers to match.

Later we will offer a customising service so as to supply a specification and colours / stickers match for any Mk 2 Gp 4 Escort Rally car so long as details and photographs can be supplied.

We will be offering a full build service to your requests as well.

Pricing for the Kit will be hopefully GB£499 plus P&P and GB£1150 for a fully finished Rothmans model painted and finished to the highest level. Release is planned for spring 2010, photos of progress will be posted up as and when they become available.

This was originally a Russell Brookes Andrews Heat for Hire model. As it was RHD we striped it down and re-painted with superb decals from Spot On Transfers to replicate DKP 191T as I owned it in 1984.

We can customize any of these 1/18th models to match any colour and markings of your choice, POA.
